K-C World War II Production

Anti-aircraft guns and artillery shell detonators were manufactured by Kimberly Clark in its Kimlark plant During World War II. The War Department doubted a paper manufacturer could produce weapons, but K-C met or beat every production deadline. The Neenah Historical Society has an example of one of these detonators in its collection.
